Bento Kangamba Gears Up Kabuscorp for Football Competition

Bento Kangamba, the esteemed owner and president of Kabuscorp do Palanca, has reaffirmed his dedication to creating the necessary conditions for the club’s return to national football competition. In a recent interview with the Journal of Angola, Kangamba emphasized that the new leadership is fully focused on organizing and preparing the team following the recent elections.

Confident in the club’s medium-term investment, Kangamba outlined their current priorities. A key focus is on organizing Covid-19 tests for their junior players as they plan to compete in the Provincial of Luanda, with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the prestigious Girabola competition.

Recognizing the importance of nurturing young talent, Kangamba stressed the significance of working with young players while benefiting from the experience of the senior members. He assured that the club has no problem finding talent and can rely on their junior players to strengthen the team’s lineup, while also maintaining good relationships with various clubs abroad to potentially hire players if needed.

Addressing concerns about the club’s ability to compete, Kangamba clarified that there are no prohibitions from FIFA or FAF. Instead, certain legal and banking obligations need to be addressed promptly, which the club is actively working on to overcome.

Regarding the coaching staff, Kangamba mentioned that they are considering multiple scenarios due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They have been working with coach Quim Manuel, who is leading the junior team and laying the foundations for the team’s participation in the qualifying phase. Kangamba assured that Kabuscorp will be in good condition this year.

To avoid repeating past mistakes, Kangamba stressed the need for a profound change in the club’s management and administrative structure. They are currently organizing the club administratively, with the inclusion of specialized lawyers and a secretary-general to address previous legal issues and ensure compliance.

The completion of the highly-anticipated training center near the 11 de Novembro Stadium is set to revolutionize Kabuscorp’s capabilities. The facility includes two natural grass fields, one synthetic turf field, a training area, and classrooms to accommodate student-athletes. This training center is expected to establish Kabuscorp do Palanca as a formidable force in Angolan football.

In conclusion, Bento Kangamba’s unwavering commitment to preparing Kabuscorp for football competition is evident in the club’s strategic planning and focus on developing both young talent and experienced players. As the club resolves legal obligations and progresses with the training center project, the future holds exciting prospects for Kabuscorp do Palanca’s return to national football prominence.
